布隆迪午餐

On Wednesday, February 27^th, Northwest Christian 高中 students hosted “A Lunch In 布隆迪,” a lunch event for the community to raise money for NWC’s very own French teacher and cross-country coach, Come Nzibarega. 本学年早些时候，zibarega先生，我们都亲切地称呼他为Z先生，在离开祖国布隆迪12年多之后，他梦想回到祖国布隆迪呆上4周。 现在，有了去年获得的美国公民身份，他几乎准备好了乘坐近19个小时的飞机，把他的梦想变成现实。 请放心，没有额外的支持他是不会走的。

In total, just over 465美元 was earned from the lunch alone. The most humbling part of the experience, however, was the extra 310美元 that were donated through an online fundraiser (which is still open for contributions at www.zuqiulist.com/give-to-nwcs/ ) FBLA分会现在很自豪地向Z先生提供近800美元的回家费, and they will be showcasing the event and its preparation at their state competition in April. 非常感谢所有为这项伟大事业捐款的人，一如既往，上帝保佑。
