初中学生生活

概述:

上帝造人是为了让人有关系。 At Northwest Christian, we emphasize the importance of student relationships –  with their classmates, their teachers and, most importantly, their Creator. 我们希望当学生离开初中时，他们的人际关系能持续到高中，并进入他们的成年生活。

教堂/责任组:

我们帮助培养这些关系的一个实际方法是通过每周的教会或问责小组。 每隔一个星期二，我们的学生聚集在一起，通过音乐和话语的教学敬拜的时间。 On weeks we don’t have chapel, we meet in grade level accountability groups. These are times for boys and girls from each grade level to meet with their grade-level mentors to discuss truths about God’s Word and to encourage and challenge each other to grow in living out their faith.

初中静修：

每年年初，初中生都要去附近的圣经夏令营进行为期两天的旅行。 这些日子充满了通过唱歌、传讲神的话语和祷告来敬拜神的机会。 再加上有趣的团队建设活动，鼓励孩子们相互联系和建立关系，你就有了一个完美的开始新的一年的方式！

领导能力：

The Leadership elective is a course which allows 8^th grade students to follow the lead of Jesus to serve others on the school campus and out into the larger community.  学生们帮助发展和促进在中学建立精神和社区的活动。  此外，课程学习带领学生开始确定他们的“形状”（属灵恩赐、心意、能力、个性和经历），以及如何使用他们独特的组合来服侍神的国度。

戏剧:

初中戏剧项目每年秋天上演一出戏。  The after school  program is designed to introduce students in 6th through 8th grades to the joys and challenges of participating in a play.  戏剧的副产品有很多，包括建立自信、有能力的公众演讲、时间管理、解决问题和独立思考，同时还能培养新的友谊、才能和兴趣。
