NWCS 8th Graders Win 1st & 2nd Place in the Holocaust Center for Humanity Writing, 艺术 & 电影 比赛

克里斯蒂娜·希尔德布兰德夫人, 8th Grade NWCS English teacher, is excited to announce two 8th Grade students have 获得第一名和第二名 in the 大屠杀人类中心写作，艺术和电影比赛!

Congratulations to 安倍麦金尼, who won 第一名 in the 7th/8th grade art division of the contest and to 迈克•鲍曼 and Stephan Yurkin, who won 2日的地方 in the 7th/8th grade film portion of the contest!

Students were asked to look through the new 幸存者百科全书：华盛顿州 and explore the video clips, photos, and artifacts of Holocaust survivors who made their home in the Pacific Northwest. They then choose one local survivor to focus on for their entry where through creativity in writing, art, or short film, they showed how a local survivor’s story (or part of their story) impacts, affects, or inspires them.
